What is Learning Management System (LMS?
A Learning Management System (LMS) is an online platform used by educators to plan, deliver, monitor, and assess student learning activities. It allows teachers to create digital content as well as provide feedback on student performance while keeping track of grades and attendance. An LMS can also be used for communication between teachers and students, allowing them to communicate via email or discussion boards without having to meet face-to-face.
The Benefits of Using an LMS During the Pandemic
An LMS can be beneficial for both teachers and students during the pandemic because it provides flexibility for remote learning. For teachers, an LMS allows them to easily create distance learning courses that are engaging and interactive for their students. For students, an LMS gives them access to materials from home so they can continue their studies without disruption. This type of remote education also helps reduce stress levels for both teachers and students since they don’t have to worry about meeting in person or travelling long distances just to attend class each day. Additionally, an LMS helps promote collaboration between teachers and students since they can easily share documents, assignments, videos etc with one another over the platform.
How Has it Impacted Education During Covid-19?
The use of Learning Management Systems has improved educational outcomes during the pandemic by providing more opportunities for online learning which has allowed schools to remain open while reducing contact between people. An LMS also helps create a sense of community among educators and their students by providing more opportunities for interaction through discussion boards or video conferencing which helps maintain relationships even when physical contact isn’t possible. Last but not least, using an LMS helps keep everyone organized since all course materials are stored in one place which makes finding what you need much easier than before!
Conclusion:

An LMS offers flexibility for remote learning as well as provides opportunities for collaboration between teachers and students who may not be able to meet face-to-face due to restrictions caused by the virus outbreak .
